regard to humans.

While the building systems are important, they must be at the service
of the occupants; a means of meeting living objectives rather than an
end themselves.

QA America recognizes the need for the intelligent systems to be
highly responsive and adaptive to living concerns and
characteristics. The most successful intelligent homes are likely to be
the most invisible when providing the appropriate synergy between
people, place and IT. People must have the technological and
physical support to go about life unaware of the intelligent systems,
design and all the computer sophistication operating around them.
